Dear Hulp Haiti,
We wanted to thank you all so very much for your help in turning our playground area into something useable and beautiful.
We did have a bit of an accident on the way up and the swing set got broken but we are working on it.
About $1400.00 of the $2000.00 has been spent at this time. We purchased a miniature basketball goal, swing set, bouncing chairs, jungle gym, see saw and a large rocking lounge.
If you get some time we would love to have you come up and see it.
We are still working on it but it is looking nicer. We want to use the rest of the funds to pave a basketball area and put up a full sized basketball goal.
We hope to work on this after Christmas. We also plan to build a metal trellis over the playground area and plant Thumbergia to cover it. This way we can keep grass growing there.
Again, we greatly appreciate your help and participation in this for the children of the House of Blessings.
